vintage Woolrich ad: an important part of doing it right (1977)

A gentleman/ lumberjack should own at least one article of vintage Made in USA Woolrich gear.   This hombre above is bedecked from head to toe in a “buffalo shirt, Aleutian prime northern goose down vest, and wool trail knickers.”   I’d gladly take any of these off of your hands,  Mr. Lumberjack-Guy-from-the-Brawny-Papertowels-ads.

Attention hipsters:  you’re doing it wrong.   Please to note that this fella is actually outdoors in his Woolrich gear.

I dig the artwork on this one.  No one would have any problem  recognizing Johnny Bench (one of my all time favorite players, right behind Carlton Fisk and Frank Thomas) and Brooks Robinson, but Billy Williams looks a little more like Ron Santo.
